Family Fun 4th

We had quite the 4th this year. Gma and Papa J were in town so we invited them and the rest of the family in town out to the lake to celebrate the 4th with Seans family. It was lots of fun all the kids had a great time playing, and the adults had some good convo. Its not very often that both sides get together, but I think Mae really loved having almost all of her Aunties, Uncles and Cousins together in one spot. We were only missing a few.
Mom got to spend some quality time with Owen! He was lovin his Gma J.

Then he got to play with Mary. I mean how lucky are my kids to be so loved by so many.
The 3 girls had so much fun playing together. We only had to throw one load of clothes into the dryer from Jovie running into the lake. Don't worry auntie Rae saved the day. At one point all 3 were nakey bum running all around. It was so funny because Mae and Jovie were naked due to their clothes being wet, then Clara was mad that she still had clothes on and ripped hers off pronto. We eventually got them all corralled in the boat, where they played for a long time, it was bliss.
Almost time for fireworks! Our good friends Kevin and Erica made it over for the weekend. Even though Erica was studying a ton why she was here, she still got to enjoy the evening. All the kids loved Kevin because he played with them a ton.
Yup that's me with a baby on the boob. Whats new :)
Gma J and Mae in their matchy matchy fleeces. Mae was also matchy matchy with Jovie, they were both wearing the same shirt.
Mary and Quinn getting ready for some firework fun!
Mae loves fireworks.
Even Owen was into them. The booms didn't even make him flinch.
Family fun watching the fireworks! Its always fun watching the fireworks at the lake snuggling on the grass under a blankie.
After everyone had left besides Seans family, Dave gave us a little concert. It was awesome, and Mae was totally into it. She was waving her light bracelets for Dave while he played. She said it was like the Jack Johnson concert she went to.
The weather may have been windy and cold all day, but we made the most of it and had a grand ol' time!

We're glad we were able to be there also. We had a fun time and the food was great. Thanks to Sean's family for the invite:)
I had a fun time on our boat ride to Hawaii with the 2 years olds. Owen is such a cuddle cutie I loved it.
