So Happy To Be Home

After all the parties and traveling Mae was so happy to be home. Look at her just smiling it up for Sean and I. We are so happy that we caught it on camera. I'll tell you what though its amazing that babies know when they are home for sure. Not that Mae is a bad traveler but she just relaxed when we got to be home all day.

Guitar Hero

After all the Christmathanks party's Sean and I weren't done. We had some friends who were in town for the holidays so we all got together and had a Pizza, and Guitar Hero party. Very good times.

Kevin did give it a good shot though. He had some tough songs.
Oh Mae was so tired Malia was doing a great job of keeping her happy. She was also cuddling Dolly (thanks auntie penny) Really she doesn't know its a doll yet but she will figure it out soon.
In case you were wondering they haven't beaten the game yet but I'm sure that eventually it will be done.

Christmathanks

I promised Christmathanks pictures so here we go. It was such a fun weekend hanging out with my family and celebrating the holiday. My nieces Aria and Jessie were so excited to see Mae so they wanted to hold her as soon as they got to the house. Mae loves Aria so much look at her just chillin all comfy on her.

This was the first time that Jessie got to see Mae all she wanted to do was hold her it was so cute. She even put her to sleep for me later in the week. Thanks for the help Jessie.
This picture is of Mae and Sean on Christmathanks morning opening Maes stocking that Grandma J made. All the girls have red stripes and all the boys have green stripes, which is a tradition from when we were kids.
Mae got a small package of M & M's in honor of our Grandpa Harvey who passed away when we were kids, but when we were little and he would come to see us he always brought us M & M's as a treat. So we've gotten them every year for Christmas and now Christmathanks.
This is Maes new rattle. She's not really ready to play with it yet but I know shes gonna love it. All in all Christmathanks was awesome. Good food, good company, a little shopping, and alot of fun.

Thors

Mae is really working on her Blue Steel face for the camera while getting ready for her debut at Thors Supper Club. After she was all bathed and ready to go, and Jason showed up (hes late almost always). We were off to party it up.Mae and Sean showing off the apron. She was being a gangsta that night with her pant leg pulled up. Sean was taking a break from cooking up a storm he was making Stuffed Eggplant Parmasean.
Mae passed out on Rick after all the good food. Which is what we all do eat a ton and then lay around with great company.
Yeah for Thors we love you guys and Mae is excited for more partys to come!

Happy Christmathanks!!

I know that to most of you today is Thanksgiving Day, but my family has changed the holiday to work better for us. Its a cross between Thanksgiving and Christmas because we don't get together during Christmas so we can have traditions with our own families.

But Christmathanks is awesome! We all get into town on Weds. night and have our nice dinner, which is not turkey and potatoes. We have our traditional Fondue dinner where we cook everything at the dinner table its great fun. Mom always has the house decorated for Christmas with the tree up and the stockings on the mantel. And on Christmathanks morning we get up and open our stockings and our presents just like Christmas morning. Then we just hang out all day like we used to do on Christmas day.

Maes Friends

On Saturday two of my BFFs came over with their kiddos and we did a photo shoot with my sister ( mistydawnphotos.com ). It was so much fun to get the kids together because we were all pregnant with our first kids all at the same time. In fact Colt and Madi are only 9 days apart and 4 months older then Mae. Look in this picture Madi is already comforting Mae cause she is holding her hand through the pictures.

Mae is just checking Colt out in his giant teacup while he's going for Madis hand. Our kids are gonna be good friends its gonna be so much fun watching them all grow up.
Thanks for coming over Care and Mari it was so much fun to all be together at the same time. And thanks hubbies for putting up with the photo shoot.

First Basketball Game

On Friday SCC had their home opener and Sean was working the game so Mae and I decided to go and support the team and dad. I was kinda wondering what she would do with the buzzer noise and well here is your answer she was passed out the almost the whole game. So Mae is

2 1/2 weeks old and has already been to a cross country meet and a basketball game. She seems to like it or hate it because she sleeps through them.

Tummy Time

Mae and I went to see Dr. Fiona (her pediatrician) on Tuesday for her 2 week appt. and man has she grown already. She went from 20.5 inches to 21.75 inches and she was already back up to her birth weight 8 lbs 2 ozs. So she is defiantly growing like a weed already. The Dr also told us to start doing some tummy time its not Maes favorite thing but were gonna keep doing it because its good for her.

Passed Out On Mom

Mae is just passed out on me. She was like this for at least an hour. She was pretty comfy because I kept trying to move her and she would slide back down. It was prettty awesome.

Project Runway

So it turns out that Mae is into fashion. This is her watching Project Runway on Monday. It was pretty cute. Just sucking away on her binky, chillin and watching her show. Shes pretty excited that the new season starts tonight.

I had to take a picture of the tv just to prove that she was really watching it.

Floor Time

Yesterday I thought it would be fun to let Mae play on her floor mat. She really wasnt intrested in it. But I'll keep getting it out until she figures it out.

NWAACC Chanmpionships

This last weekend was a big one for Sean, Mae and I. Not only was it Maes first road trip but it was also NWAACC Championships for SCC. So Maes Grandma Mac and Grandpa Mac took Mae and I down to Vancouver, WA to support Sean and the team. I was worried because Mae slept the whole time we were in the car so I didn't think that she would sleep on Friday night. Luckly for me shes a good sleeper and slept like she normally does in about 3 - 4 sometimes 5 hour streches. So Sean and I were both able to get a good nights sleep.

Sean and Mae were watching some football on Saturday morning. She wasnt that into though she fell back asleep.

Now Sean is sleeping with her. So cute.
We went to breakfast that morning before the meet. And Sean was nice enough to hold Mae while we ate. The other coaches thought it was funny how he was holding her. But hey it works.

Obviously Mae is in the front pack. Which worked really well she made it through her first cross country meet @ 11 days old. Well she was so comfy she slept most of the time but I still think she liked it.

Both the boys and girls won which is awesome. And they also won the combined teams trophy. So really CCS is awesome @ cross country.

And were finally on our way home. There was a little change of plane and Mae and I ended up having to ride home on the bus with the team. Mae liked it can you tell.
So our first road trip was a success. Which is great because with the holidays comming up we will be on the road a little bit and now I know that shes is a great traveler. Although I could tell that she liked being home yesterday. She was a very happy girl.

On The Computer

This is Mae and Sean on the computer. Mae loves to snuggle up with her dad because she snuggles with me all day. So she loves to be with him when he gets home. Isn't Sean just the cutest dad. He does need a hair cut though, maybe I should do something about that.

Leg Warmers

Check out Maes awesome leg warmers. I got those for her because we keep our house on the colder side. So to keep her warm this winter I decided on leg warmers.

1 Week Old Today

This is Mae on the day she was born. So precious.

And this is Mae 1 week old. Shes already changed so much. At the doctors today they weighed her before she ate and even before she ate she was almost back up to her birth weight. Which the nurse said they dont expect until 2 weeks so Mae is right on track.

The Binky

Today was the day that I thought that I would try the binky. So at the Doctors today she had to be hungry before we got there so she was pretty fussy. I decided hey why not try this out so I popped in this crazy one that makes her mouth look funny, but hey it worked. Then tonight she was fussing and it wasn't time to eat yet so while Sean was holding her I popped it in again and she took it. So yea I think she likes it.

I also had to try this one because its pretty funny. Mute button. She liked this one to which is nice cause I like options.

A Gift

Can you tell that we are a running family? Grandma Mac and Grandpa Mac were at the State Cross Country meet this last weekend and came home with a t-shirt for Mae. It may be a few years or 5 until she can wear it but I still love it. Oh yeah and the had her name put on the back too so cute.

Bath Time

On Sunday Sean and I decides to give Mae he first bath at home. We havent gotten our baby bath yet so we figured why not wash her in the sink.

Mae just chillen in the towell Grandma J made her. Thinking hey this might not be so bad.

Rub a dub dub washin in the tub (sink) .
Brrrrrrrr she is mad at us she does not like to be cold.
Oh so much better we warmed up her robe (a hand me down from Niles thanks) in the dryer to warm her up good and quick.
