Wish Us Luck

Ok this one is going to be short and sweet. Sean and I are going in to the hospital in a few hours to get induced. So with any luck Mae will be here by this time tomarrow! Horray!!! So send up loads of prayers.

Un-Birthday

Yesterday was a great day Sean and I celebrated Maes un-birthday. We figured that hey we have been looking forward to this day for 10 months now even though nothing happened like Maes birth it was such a nice day we still had to enjoyed it.

The day began like any other until Misty called wanting to know if I would watch her kids. I figured why not nothing is gonna happen today. So I said sure bring them on over. She brought them over and we went to the park. Swung on the swings, ran around, and just plain had fun. We then decided to come back to the house and play some soccer. So Aria, Gabe, and I walked home. As soon as we got into the back yard the kids got sidetracked with the piles of leaves I had raked the day before. So we played in the leaves instead.

After the kids left Sean returned home from school and had to wash his car. Which was a great idea because it was about 65 degrees outside, and he just plain loves his car. So I waited for him to wash his car then we went for a walk, which did not bring on any contractions in case anyone was wondering.

While on our walk I decided that we needed to go on a date, just in case its our last one before she comes. We decided on this great restaurant, Gordys Sichuan Cafe yum, yum, yum. So after Seans X-Country practice we had our date. We ate an amazing meal, and then went out for Maggie Moos ice cream afterwords. So delicious. We also figured we would take a picture of Mae on her un-birthday so there she is in my belly still at Gordys.

So Happy Un-Birthday Mae please choose a day soon that we can really call your birthday. We love you and want you to come out!

Why Shes Late

As pretty much all of you know I loathe lateness, so my daughter has decided to begin pushing my buttons even before she comes into this world. I relized this about 2 days ago and informend Sean of my discovery. He just laughed at me and said "yeah your probably right". So she has proved her point shes late we get it come out now.

Maes Room or Study Hall?

I just thought that you would all like to see what we are doing with Maes room and really comfortable rocking chair. Sean uses it to study. I know thats not the original purpose of the room but its working really well for as as a study room. Although once she comes Im kicking Sean out of the chair when she needs to eat. Oh and in case you can't tell Sean also uses her blankets to keep warm in our chilly house which Im keeping at 60 degrees because the pregnant lady gets hot!

Update...

I was hoping that my next post would have pictures of Mae in it but lets just say shes not ready to come yet. I went to the doctor today and everyting is the same as its been for the past month. 1 cm dialated and 25% effaced with no braxton hicks or contractions to speak of. So unless she decides to come on her own between now and next Monday I will be getting induced. @ least I know that within the next week she will be out and home, and If I take after my mom who was late with all 5 of us It really wont be until next Monday or Tuesday when I get induced. So keep sending those prayers up for her to come natural before then. Thanks for all of your support I really appreciate it. Hopefully there will be pictures soon of our Mae!

Keeping the House Clean

Well I would like to be posting pictures of Mae but its not that exciting yet. Which is why I havent posted anything for awhile, and I figured that there were already enough pics of my giant belly on here and there doesn't need to be more of that. So Sean and I are just patiently waiting for Maes arrivel. Im going on a walk every day, made some pumpkin bread, keeping the house nice and clean. I actually make the bed now cause there is really not much elese to do. Believe it or not Im even doing the dishes now yeah for Sean I think he likes this stay @ home Rachel well for now because its still a novelty.

Well hopefully the next time I post it really will be pictures of Mae cross your fingers for us.

Last Day of Work

Ok so Im done working and that is weird cause thats what I do is work. But Im gonna have a new job for the next 3 months. Which is even more exciting but I am gonna miss that pay check.

So Mae can arrive any day now because I will get bored if I I dont have anything to do. I think that I will be going on lots of walks and keeping the house very clean. Sean may go crazy cause I havent ever been home so much but we will see hopefully not. Well pray for her to come early for me (sorry mom) so that I dont get to bored over the next couple of weeks.
