Our friends let us borrow a bike early this spring, and Mae showed little interest in riding it. Then just the other night she wanted to hit the road on wheels. How do you like her riding boots? She said they were for bike riding.
The amazing thing was that she really has not spent much time on a bike, but she got right on and pedaled away. The bike does have training wheels, they are a little off though so she has to work on her balance from the get go.
Owen watched her go back and forth, back and forth.
She was having a hard time steering, so Sean had to keep her on the sidewalk. The past few times we have gone out her steering has been much better and straight.
Then let the races begin! After riding she wanted to run. Apparently she is on Team USA because that is what she wanted to yell as she ran by. Go USA go USA. It was pretty cute.
Mae informed me the other day that we are a "runner family".
Seans turn to race.

Yes you are a running family!! I'm trying to teach Mac "on your mark, get set, go!" so he can run with Mae. Looks like a fun evening!
