Try using photobucket for your pictures, just like the videos. It's much less tempermental than blogger, in my experience. After you upload the pic, you just copy the Direct Link. Then when you click the insert picture icon on blogger, you paste it into the box on the right. Instant picture!

It was doing the same thing to me last night but I got it to work tonight. Annoying!!
